Sega released a video containing a split-screen comparison between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of its upcoming hack and slash sandbox game Yakuza: Ishin.

The first next-gen Yakuza game will have players explore 19th century Japan, in a somewhat sandbox environment offering a lot of optional quests and tasks, including gardening and fishing.

Sega has published a lot of Yakuza: Ishin videos, from walkthroughs and showcasing various gameplay elements such as special moves, battle styles, dungeons and weapon forging, to the PlayStation Vita companion app.

The most recent video highlights the visual differences between the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. The PlayStation 4 version runs at 60 frames per second in Full HD at 1080p, and of course looks much more detailed and crisp.

Yakuza: Ishin will be out in Japan on February 22, for Sony's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 console systems.
