14 DAY TRIAL // Yahoo! Weather for iPhone and iPod touch just got a fresh update this week adding an animated radar, bug fixes and other enhancements.
The Winner of an Apple Design Award, Yahoo! Weather is arguably one of the best-looking weather apps on the iOS App Store. It offers beautiful photos that match your location and the time of day, detailed weather information and forecasts, as well as an interactive radar, satellite, heat, and wind maps, plus sunrise/sunset times.
In version 1.2, the radar is now animated, but only in a few select countries, according to Yahoo!. The rest of the update is filled with “stability enhancements [and] bug fixes,” which is a bit redundant, considering that both involve code corrections.
Yahoo! Weather requires iOS 5.0 and works with most iDevices currently in circulation.
