Both Internet giants, Google and Yahoo, consider it is very important to communicate with their customers and keep them up to date with the latest news and improvements on their products. Some time ago, Google released numerous ways to chat with the customers, allowing them to contact the company using Google Groups, contact forms, feedback e-mail addresses or multiple blogs hosted by the search giant an updated by its employees. Yahoo also tried to release several blogs to communicate with the clients, some of them being really popular. Today, Yahoo announces a facelift for the most visited blog of the company, Yahoo Search Blog being improved with an attractive interface.

"After two and half years, the Yahoo! Search Blog team thought it was time for a little pick-me-up, so we went under the html knife and added a couple of new features to help you navigate through the site better. Okay, so it's not exactly a traditional facelift, but it's a refresh and we hope you like it. A couple new things we added include: MyBlogLog, one-click links to save a post to Yahoo! Bookmarks, del.icio.us and digg, a new archive dropdown to quickly get to past posts and category search," Raj Gossain, Yahoo Search, sustained in a blog post.

What's the difference between Google Blogs and Yahoo Blogs? Google doesn't allow comments for most of its blogs because numerous pages were attacked with splogs, a new way for spamming blogs with a huge number of comments. Yahoo allows its users to comment on the posts and even respond to some of them, so their community is more attractive for the customers looking for help.
