The Sunnyvale company Yahoo rolled out a new beta version of Yahoo Music which brings exciting new functionality for all the music lovers. Besides the stunning interface provided by the service, the new Yahoo Music comes with several goodies just for your listening pleasure. For example, it offers a brand new music player which includes playlist support as well as station manager and other similar features. Moreover, the player is entirely built with drag and drop support which provides you a great manipulation over your favorite tracks. The new Yahoo Search is more powerful than before as it enables you to search for artists, albums, songs, videos and lyrics.

In case you forgot, Yahoo recently launched a Lyrics technology, probably especially meant to be bundled into this solution, which is supposed to be the only product providing licensed lyrics for an impressive database of songs.

The new 'What's Hot' section is very useful for all the visitors of Yahoo Music because it offers the latest news, interviews, music tracks and artist information straight on the top of the page. Under this 'hot' part of the page, you can always find the 'fresh recommendations every day' which are actually the most popular videos, albums, songs and artists depending on the music ratings provided by the visitors.

'Upcoming Concerts' offers one click access to the local concert listings which allows you to 'keep track of upcoming concerts in your home-town, or switch locations to see shows anywhere'. Also, you can access the news and the blogs published on Yahoo music which offers you the chance to 'get inside track with expert music blogs and up-to-the-minute Yahoo Music news'.

There is no word about the compatible browser which works with the new version of Yahoo Music but I tried it in Firefox and it worked pretty well.
