At this time, Yahoo owns two of the most popular services in the entire world with millions of users and new members registering for the products every day. Yahoo Messenger is surely the most known instant messaging client because it allows you to communicate with your friends, family or other users of the application using powerful functions meant to enhance the chatting experience. For example, Yahoo Messenger offers webcam support, file transfer functions, audibles, emoticons and contact details features to improve your chatting session.

Yahoo Mail is another product released by the giant portal that is known in the entire world because it provides very powerful tools to help you send and receive e-mail messages. The service currently provides another version of Yahoo Mail available as a beta that allows you to test some innovative functions such as drag and drop support, multiple folders and an attracting interface.

As you might know, Google, one of the most powerful Yahoo rivals, created a powerful interoperability between Gmail, its mail solutions, and Google Talk, the instant messaging client provided by the company. The compatibility between the two products allows users to communicate with their contact directly from the interface of the mail solution. Today, the giant portal Yahoo announced a similar interoperability between Mail and Messenger, allowing users to chat on Yahoo Messenger using the interface of the mail solution.

"We'll be rolling out the feature gradually, so, unfortunately, not everyone will have access immediately. As part of this release, I've put together a screencast that runs through how the integration works and what you can do now that Messenger and Mail are sitting side by side in your browser. Aside from the obvious of being able to instantly connect with 73 million Yahoo! Messenger users worldwide (according to comScore, 12/2006), you also get a seamless experience melding instant messaging with email," Ryan Kennedy, Yahoo! Mail Beta Evangelist, sustained on the official blog of the company.

Although the company released a private beta testing stage program of the interoperability, Yahoo's employees created an animated presentation of the new solution available on this link.
