In case you're a Vista user who loves online chatting, I bet you're waiting for the long-discussed Yahoo Messenger for Windows Vista prepared by the Sunnyvale based company. Since January when Yahoo first spoke about the Vista compatible flavor of Yahoo Messenger, it kept the product in the spotlights using every once in a while published news which were supposed to increase users' interest over the product. The Messenger for Vista's page still sustains the application is 'Coming soon' but some of the consumers can't wait anymore and urged the company to roll out the program.

Today, Josh Jacobson, Senior Product Manager, Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista, announced that the special version of the application is almost here but all of us have to wait a little bit more as they are now in final testing stages.

"The team hears you loud and clear, and we can't wait for launch day either! We are working hard to make a download available for your honest feedback and thorough testing. And of course those who have provided their email address will be the first to know when it is ready," the Yahoo official wrote on the company's blog today.

Moreover, Yahoo also revealed some improvements for Yahoo Messenger for Windows Vista such as 'performance optimization for a smooth and responsive experience' and 'integrated feedback system for bug reporting and feature ideas'.

In addition, it seems like you'll have the possibility to install both versions of the instant messenger for Windows on the same computer at the same time. Also, the application offers 'updated visual design for desktop icons and Sidebar gadget', 'vector-based animated emoticons' and 'aeroglass window integration'.

If you want to be notified when Yahoo Messenger for Windows Vista is officially released, you can enter your e-mail address on the official page of the product available here.
