Lately, Yahoo! makes the headlines only in news that announce stake selling and the general downslide of the company. Despite all this, the development team for their instant messaging app has been working on a new version of the product and the result is Yahoo! Messenger 11.5.0.152. The new release introduces a slew of features, some of which should have been present a few versions back. Now you can handle and switch between conversations from a single window, as they are docked into tabs.
Functionality of the application has also been improved by offering quick access to recently used contacts. These appear at the top of the contact list. Another improvement touches on the archiving system, which now categorizes conversations by friends.
The list of changes includes better spam management, new social games, quick access to emoticons, and a snapshot tool that captures your desktop and lets you share the picture.
