14 DAY TRIAL // Yahoo has released an updated iPad Mail app with a wide range of new features and enhancements, including news, search, and weather, as well as videos and Flickr photos, filters, and fixes.
Yahoo Mail on iPad is much more than just a mail client starting with version 3.1.0. Described as a “big feature update for iPad iOS7+” and available to users 17 and up, the new Yahoo Mail features news, search, weather information, stocks, sports scores, Flickr photos, popular videos, and more.
Users will also get to create, edit, and delete mail filters. Update 3.1.0 includes performance improvements as well and some bug fixes.
Yahoo Mail currently supports over a dozen languages, so your native tongue is most likely supported by its interface. That includes Dutch, French, German, Greek, Indonesian, Malay, Portuguese, Romanian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and others. Yahoo Mail 3.1.0 needs iOS 7.0 as a minimum firmware requirement. The app weighs in at around 44.5 MB, which means you need double that amount to install it.
You can download Yahoo Mail 3.1.0 on iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad second generation, iPad third generation, iPad fourth generation, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, and iPod touch fifth generation. This particular update will not exhibit any major changes on iPhone and iPod touch, but it will feel considerably different on tablet devices.
