It's been a few months since the Yahoo mail client for Android devices has been completely revamped, and users still complain the application needs lots of improvements before becoming reliable.

The latest update for Yahoo Mail for Android promises to do just that, so those who already have the application installed on their devices may want to download the new version as soon as it becomes available.

According to the official changelog, the small update is meant to add some performance, stability enhancements. Developers did not add any new features in this version of Yahoo Mail, but reliability and security should be their main concern.

You can now download Yahoo Mail for Android 3.0.16 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
