Yahoo Mail is probably the most popular mail service on the internet, with millions of users that are already registered and a huge number of clients that are subscribing every day. The popularity of the solution provided by Yahoo is also increased by other applications developed by the company. Yahoo Messenger is one of these programs, because if you want to use the instant messaging client, you must get a Yahoo ID that is also compatible with the mail service. Some time ago, Yahoo released a beta version of the service that included more useful features, such as drag and drop support, multiple accounts and an improved interface. Because many users tested this new version of the mail solution, the company decided to improve it and add even more functions to increase its functionality. This update concerns performance improvements, multiple features and many bugs reported by the testers were fixed. Yahoo improved the loading time of the service, allowing users to browse their folders quick and easy. Multiple languages such as Indonesian, Malay, American Spanish, Mexican and Argentinean were included. Besides all these improvements, Yahoo added Vista support for the e-mail service and a weather box that will display forecast information as well as an implementation of the Yahoo search in the e-mail client. "In this latest release, there have been some good performance gains. You should notice the preview pane (the message reading area below the message list) loads faster. We also did some work to make tab switching a bit more speedy. We even did a bit of work on the compose message tab. In addition, message sending should be much faster, particularly if you're sending to a large number of recipients," a Yahoo employee said.
