This update concerns performance improvements, multiple features and many bugs reported by the testers were fixed. Yahoo improved the loading time of the service, allowing users to browse their folders quick and easy. Multiple languages such as Indonesian, Malay, American Spanish, Mexican and Argentinean were included.

Besides all these improvements, Yahoo added Vista support for the e-mail service and a weather box that will display forecast information as well as an implementation of the Yahoo search in the e-mail client.

"In this latest release, there have been some good performance gains. You should notice the preview pane (the message reading area below the message list) loads faster. We also did some work to make tab switching a bit more speedy. We even did a bit of work on the compose message tab.
