Yahoo is a company that surely needs a shock to be revamped. This fact is sustained by multiple quits of the company's employees and
also by the memo written by Brad Garlinghouse, Senior Vice President at Yahoo!.
At that time, Brad Garlinghouse said that "we have lost our passion to win. Far too many employees are "phoning" it in, lacking the passion and commitment to be a part of the solution. We sit idly by while -- at all levels -- employees are enabled to "hang around". Where is the accountability? Moreover, our compensation systems don't align to our overall success. Weak performers that have been around for years are rewarded. And many of our top performers aren't adequately recognized for their efforts."
That was an obvious sign of Yahoo's problems. Then, 2 executives decided to depart from Yahoo Publisher Advertising Network, leaving the service in a continuously falling process.
This time, Xie Wen, Yahoo's China president, decided to leave after 40 days since he was named on this job. Xie Wen, who was a chief executive before joining Yahoo, is expected to take a role as a strategic advisor to Alibaba.
China is one of the largest Internet markets with Yahoo placed after Baidu and Google in users' tops, but the company representatives said that Xie Wen leaved for personal reasons, refusing to offer more details.
