After a long period of not changing anything to its homepage, Yahoo! decided it was time for a revamping.
"Our goal is to have the best page on the Internet. We feel like this (redesign) does something great for everybody," Dan Rosensweig, Yahoo's CEO, told the Associated Press.
With the new design, users can decide on the preferred color and the way the content is displayed.
The most important change brought to the new Yahoo! targets the reduction of the lengthy path users had to take before reaching a certain service.
For example, in the upper-right corner, the web designers put six services, which no longer require a separate page to be opened; passing the mouse cursor over them is enough to access them.
Another interesting addition is Yahoo! Pulse, with the help of which users can find out about the most popular keywords and what information is shared. Moreover, one can ask questions on different topics and can add opinions to polls.
But still, since we are discussing about visual details, words become obsolete. Therefore, we invite you to study the two images and to access the site.
