Delivering exclusive access to complete network series premiere episodes form CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC and the CW, Yahoo TV aims to be the number one online destination for TV fanatics. In a press release,
the Santa Monica company revealed that in addition to video content, Yahoo TV will also present line-up schedule, show clips and photos. "Jericho" from CBS and "Heroes" from NBC will find their way among the premium TV content.
"Offering Yahoo! users access to content from new and returning shows is part of our ongoing efforts to give people the most entertaining and engaging online programming possible," said Karin Gilford, general manager, Yahoo! Entertainment. "As people watch more video content online, we look forward to continuing our collaboration with the TV networks to provide users with the highest quality TV-related content on the Web."
The selective video content preview program has debuted with the pilot episode of the FOX series "Vanished", accompanied by the premiere of the second "Prison Break" season.
