Offering a multi-language format with no less than 9 languages among which three from Asia, the traffic on Yahoo FIFA has remained constant throughout the weekend, averaging 4.4 million users a day. The audience study has furthermore showed that over 400.000 users viewed, on Friday, June 9th, the video streams containing images filmed during the Cup's football matches.
Over the weekend the video streams served were only 375.000 a day, but it is estimated that this will pick up once the Championship enters its final stages.
According to the same study, 57% of the users chose the English version of the site, followed by the Spanish version with 14% and by the Japanese page with 6%.
Yahoo FIFA World Cup can only grow in similar audience ratings as the climbing trajectory of the FIFA World Cup will culminate with the July 9th final.
