Yahoo is one of the largest Internet companies, owning an impressive number of solutions with millions of users every day. The company is often identified through its giant portal that is currently the most popular portal on the Internet, providing quick access to multiple services designed by Yahoo. At this time, Yahoo offers numerous products that are competing with the ones provided by its well known rival Google such as mail, instant messaging client and video search.

As you know, Google is the
company that owns the most popular advertising platform on the Internet and is continuously working on several utilities meant to help the search giant expand its ad solution in the offline area. Google made multiple partnerships with several US newspapers to publish their ads, numerous publishers being included in the testing program released by the company.

Yahoo tries a similar strategy because the giant portal makes a lot of new agreements with online publications to expand the popularity of Yahoo Hotjobs service. The solution provided by Yahoo already made partnerships with an impressive number of newspapers but it announced today a new agreement with The Times, one of the most known publications in the entire world.

"The Times readers and employers now have access to the job postings on more than 150 daily newspapers though the Yahoo! HotJobs Web site. Davenport, Iowa based Lee Enterprises Inc. and six other newspaper companies have formed a strategic alliance with Yahoo Inc. that provides job seekers with greater job search opportunities and gives employer's job listings far wider exposure to qualified candidates. The combination helps a company fill open positions quicker because it reaches both passive and active job seekers, she said," The Times reported.
