14 DAY TRIAL // Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer has decided to equip staffers with brand new iPhones, not Android smartphones, in what will undoubtedly cause a bit of stir with her friends at Google.
On July 17, 2012, Marissa Ann Mayer was elected President and CEO of Yahoo!. Also a member of the company’s board of directors, Mayer spent “a couple million” on iPhone handsets, indicating that she is no longer loyal to Google, according to The Atlantic Wire.
While it is normal to see some controversy spark over such a move, let’s not forget that Apple’s iPhone does pose quite a few advantages as a business smartphone.
