Yahoo!, the Internet giant company, and one of America's top mobile phone company, America Movil, have shaken hands in order to bring more mobility to the world. The two companies have teamed up in a deal that would provide mobile Web services in 16 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

America Movil will have its wireless carriers portals as a service provided through Yahoo's one search service. Thus, Yahoo will be able to offer local
version of the service for each region. It is almost certain that other Yahoo services will be introduced at the beginning of the next year in the program.

America Movil is a wireless communications company that provides services to over 130 million wireless subscribers in America. The company started offering their services to the public in Latin America and the Caribbean in March 2007. Also Carlos Slim Helu, one of the richest person in the world according to the "Mexican Financial Wealth", is the one who owns the company.

Most of America Movil headquarters are located in Mexico City, Mexico. The company has a subsidiary Mexican center, Telcel, which is the largest mobile operator in Mexico.

This is a huge deal for Movil and one of the greatest move Yahoo! announced to have made this year. The move that Yahoo! made is pretty clear, as lately the company has been running after customers that would get subscription to their Internet service delivery, via mobile phones. oneSearch was launched in USA at the beginning of the year, in January.

oneSearch lets those who use the service to surf the web on the first screen they call up. This is different from what a designed browser for PC users does. Through the second system, any user is forced to navigate via more than one screen. Also, Yahoo announced that it would focus only on mobile advertising deals and that it didn't have any plan to start designing phone software.
