After the release of Ubuntu 13.10 Beta, Canonical and the talented people behind the Xubuntu operating system released the second and last Beta version of the upcoming Xubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) Linux operating system.

Just like the previous Beta release, Xubuntu 13.10 Beta 2 is powered by Linux kernel 3.11, and introduces gtk-theme-config, a utility that lets users easily change their theme colors, an updated version of the xfce4-settings tool, which brings a new dialog to set up your displays, and a working LightDM greeter.

Xubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) Beta 2 is distributed as Live DVD ISO images, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. Download Xubuntu 13.10 Beta 2 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
