Xubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Is Ready for Download

Following the release of Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS (Precise Pangolin), Canonical proudly announced on August 23rd the immediate availability for download of the Xubuntu 12.04.1 LTS operating system.

All Xubuntu 10.04 LTS users are able to upgrade to the 12.04.1 LTS version at their convenience (you'll receive an upgrade notification on the next reboot). Also, Xubuntu 12.04 LTS users don't need to download anything if they already have all the updates applied on their default installation.

Xubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin) is an LTS (Long Term Support) release, supported with security updates and patches, as well as updated applications for 3 years, until 2015. The next maintenance release, Xubuntu 12.04.2 LTS, will be available on February 14, 2013.

Xbuntu 12.04.1 LTS is distributed as Live CD ISO images with Desktop and Alternate editions, available for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
