Xperia arc, Sony Ericsson's latest flagship Android smartphone, is reportedly experiencing various issues with when it comes to the recording of HD videos, if some of the latest reports on the matter are to be believed.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc was launched in January during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and is already available for purchase in different markets around the world.

The new device was launched with a large 4.2-inch touchscreen display, a slim design with a curved back, and with an 8.1-megapixel photo snapper with an Exmor R camera sensor.

The Exmor R camera sensor was used in Sony Ericsson's latest Android devices as well, including the Xperia PLAY, or the Xperia neo and pro.

Apparently, the issues that emerged with the Xperia arc are related specifically to its camera, which does not deliver the required quality when it comes to shooting videos.

The snapping of photos is fast and impressive in various conditions, it seems, since the device manages to maintain a high quality for all photos.

However, issues with stuttering/freezing and a series of audio sync problems were reported for the device, mostly when recording in 720p HD.

Reportedly, Sony Ericsson already admitted to the problem, and is working on delivering a fix for its customers, though it remains to be seen when it would arrive.

In related news, we learn that the handset vendor is also considering the release of a white version of the Xperia arc.

The mobile phone maker already launched white flavors of some other devices it brought to shelves with Google's Android platform on board, and Xperia arc might join hands with them too in the near future.

Proof of the company's future plans comes through a series of photos with the white version of Xperia arc, which emerged into the wild courtesy of IT168, and which reportedly represent the original white Xperia arc.
