Australian mobile phone carrier Vodafone has just debuted another new Sony Ericsson smartphone on its airwaves, namely the Xperia arc, which accompanies the previously announced Xperia ray.

Users interested in the phone will be able to purchase it for $10 per month on the carrier's $45 plan, with a minimum cost over 24 months of $1320.

Packing a 4.2'' Multi-touch Reality Display, a fast 1GHz application processor inside, and Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform on board, the new device is available on Vodafone's website here.

The handset also comes with 320MB of internal memory, and with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space via microSD card slot (an 8GB card included). An 8.1 megapixel camera on the back offers support for video recording (720p at 30fps).
