Sony has made its Xperia acro HD available for purchase in Japan on the airwaves of NTT DOCOMO only several days ago, yet it seems that the device is already a best-seller in the country.

The mobile phone arrived in the county on the airwaves of CDMA carrier KDDI, and is enjoying great sales there as well, it appears.

At the moment, NTT DOCOMO’s flavor of the device is the top seller in Japan, followed by KDDI’s version, the latest sales charts in the country show.

Sony is a Japanese company, and the fact that it packed this device not only with great capabilities, but also with features specifically tailored for the local market has helped it pick up Steam fast.

Not to mention that the Xperia acro HD builds on the great success that its predecessor - the Xperia acro - has registered in the country.
