Two weeks ago, Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile made official the Xperia Z2, its new Android-based flagship, and the device is nearing its market availability fast, with various carriers and retailers out there already announcing plans to bring it to their users.

Vodafone UK is one of these companies, and the Xperia Z2 can already be seen listed as available for pre-order on the wireless carrier’s website.

The handset is free on a series of monthly plans, but it won’t land on shelves until April 10, 2014, the operator notes.

However, those who are interested in grabbing it might actually consider having a look at the offer that Vodafone has in store for it for pre-orders.

Those who choose to make a reservation now might end up getting a free Sony Bravia 32-inch TV. The deal is available for the first 3,000 people to pre-order the device, as pocket-lint notes in a recent article.

Those who choose to grab the mobile phone on one of Vodafone's Red 4G plans will also enjoy unlimited UK calls and texts, along with monthly data starting at 3GB per month, depending on how much they want to pay.

Reservations for the smartphone have kicked off today and will close on April 9. The free TV deal is available until the first 3,000 Xperia Z2 have been ordered, so you might want to hurry up if you want to grab one.

In case you missed Sony Xperia Z2’s unveiling at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, you might want to know that the phone was announced with a 5.2-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution.

The handset comes to the market with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor packed inside, as well as with 3GB of RAM, which should ensure great performance capabilities for it.

Moreover, Sony announced it with a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back, which can record videos in 4K resolution, as well as with a front camera for making video calls.

The smartphone also comes to the market with a dust and waterproof design, as well as with the usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors packed inside. Moreover, Sony has launched it with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system loaded on top, as well as with a series of exclusive apps and features.

Xperia Z2 will arrive on shelves in various markets before the end of this month, although Vodafone UK will release it only next month. Those who would like to pre-order it at the wireless carrier should head over to this page on its online portal.
