Xperia Z Will Land in Singapore on March 1

Sony Mobile is getting ready for the launch of its Xperia Z smartphone in more markets around the world, and it has just confirmed that users in Singapore will receive it on March 1.

The smartphone will be available for purchase through Xperia Stores, Sony Stores and Sony Centers in the country priced at S$ 988 ($797 USD / €588), XperiaBlog notes.

Starting with March 2, the device will be available at operators as well. It will be launched in all three color flavors, namely black, purple and white (though the purple version is expected to arrive on shelves one week later).

Sony Mobile also confirmed that the smartphone will become available for pre-order in the country starting with February 15, and that all those who reserve it will receive an “exclusive gift.” Starhub, SingtelShop and M1 will offer online pre-orders too.
