Before the end of the month, mobile phone users in Canada will be able to purchase a new Android-based Sony smartphone on the network of wireless carrier Bell, namely the Xperia Z, and it seems that devices are already shipping to the operator’s stores.

The new mobile phone is set to become available for purchase on July 30, as MobileSyrup says, and should sport a price tag of $650 (€478) contract-free, it seems.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Xperia Z was made official in January this year with a large 5-inch full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display, and with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor inside.

Furthermore, the smartphone features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 2330mAh battery, 4G LTE capabilities, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and front camera for video calling. It is also dust and waterproof certified.
