Sony’s large Xperia Z Ultra smartphone should arrive on shelves at T-Mobile in the not-too-distant future, a recent FCC filing unveils.

The smartphone has received the necessary approvals from the feds with support for this wireless carrier’s 1700MHz HSPA network, as well as with LTE – bands 2, 4, 5 and 7, and might be soon announced, UnwiredView notes.

Magenta’s customers already have the option to purchase the Xperia Z smartphone on their wireless carrier’s network, and it would not come too much as a surprise if the bigger device joined it.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Xperia Z Ultra packs a 6.4-inch touchscreen display, along with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor inside, and 2GB of RAM. It also features 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and front camera for video calling.
