One of the nicest looking mobile phones that was unveiled during the ongoing year as sporting Google's Android operating system on board is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, a device that has just passed through FCC's courtyard with T-Mobile frequencies on board. There are no details available on when it might land in the US, yet the phone was known to come stateside, and now it seems that it has just taken another step down that road.

As previously rumored, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 was spotted around FCC's hallways with support for T-Mobile's network, namely with EDGE 850 / 1900 MHz and WCDMA Band IV on board. Not only does that show that Magenta is set to release it on the US market, but it also shows that WIND Mobile in Canada could get it at a certain point. Beside that, one can also enjoy WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options with the device, so things are even better.

Especially since the Xperia X10 shapes up as a very beautiful Android-powered mobile phone. It might not run under the latest version of Google's platform, but it certainly has the looks with that Rachael user interface thrown all over its face. However, some argue that its appeal is somehow shadowed by the lack of a physical QWERTY keyboard, but that does not mean that the soft one can do the job, right? Especially with reports on Swype coming to Android, this might not be a major drawback afterwards.

Early 2010 is said to be the release time frame for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, with some suggesting that February is the lucky month, while other state that January 18 might see the phone launched on the market. However, it shouldn't be too long before the Android device arrives, yet it remains to be seen whether US will receive it at the same time with Europe. In case it does, T-Mobile's users should soon have yet another appealing phone that runs under Google's OS to choose from. Stay tuned for more.
