Owners of the Xperia T smartphone on the network of wireless carrier SFR in France will be able to enjoy the features of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean starting with July 8, the company officially confirmed.

The new software update will be delivered to users both over the air and through the Sony PC Companion desktop application, it seems.

As a recent article on fandroid explains, the update is set to provide users with a nice rage of appealing enhancements, including a better overall experience (widgets, gestures, and languages).

The update will feature improvements to connectivity and GPS enhancements, as well as various changes to the features and applications that SFR has loaded on the mobile phone.
