Xorg Server 1.11.2 Brings Lots of Improvements

Xorg Server, an open source implementation of the X Window System, has been upgraded to 1.11.2, bringing fixes for various crashes and corrects issues from the previous release.

Xorg Server 1.11.2 comes with a hefty changelog and there are no shortages of updates and fixes.

Highlights of Xorg Server 1.11.2:

· Some issues when mising Xinerama and XcopyArea/Xdamage were repaired;
· Patch on xorg-devel for review, will hopefully be in 1.11.3;
· Xorg can segfault in VidModeGetFirstModeline;
· Server crash destroying GLX pixmaps was repaired;
· A crash in GLX when resizing a window was fixed;
· RandR panning & scaling now works;
· Another crash in GLX/DRI2 when resizing a window was fixed;
· A DRI2 crash regression was fixed;
· Double free using intel drivers;
· A composite bug that sometimes shows empty tooltips has been eliminated.
