The smartphone runs under Android 4.4 KitKat right from the start

Indian mobile phone maker Xolo has made official yet another affordable Android smartphone in its homeland market, in the form of Xolo Q510s, which sports a price tag of only Rs. 6,499 ($107/€80).

The new device has been launched with a 4-inch IPS touchscreen display capable of delivering a 480 x 800 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with 416MHz Mali-400 MP2 GPU.

The handset also features 1GB of RAM as well as 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the smartphone packs a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash and support for 1080p video recording, which is complemented by a VGA camera on the front, to provide users with video calling capabilities.

Moreover, Xolo Q510s has been announced with Dual SIM with Dual Standby capabilities, as well as with support for 3G HSPA+ networks, and with the usual Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS inside.

The new mobile phone is powered by a 1500mAh battery and runs under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box. The handset measures 128 x 63 x 8.98mm and arrives on shelves in a gold flavor, as can be seen on the company's website.
