Indian mobile phone maker Xolo is getting ready for the launch of a new large Android-based smartphone, namely the Xolo Q3000, a handset that has already made an appearance online.

The new mobile phone hasn’t been officially introduced as of now, but it might not be too long before Xolo announces it in an attempt to grab some more market share in phablet segment.

Xolo Q3000 can be seen listed on Flipkart now, with a 5.7-inch IPS touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.

Furthermore, the new device features a 1.5GHz quad-core processor inside, none other than the MediaTek MT6589T chipset, as fonearena notes.

Moreover, it comes to the market with PowerVR SGX544 graphics and with 2GB of RAM, as well as with 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by up to 32GB of additional storage space, courtesy of a microSD memory card slot.

On the back, the new mobile sports a 13-megapixel camera with BSI 2 sensor, LED Flash, and support for full HD video recording, complemented by a 5MP front camera for making video calls. The phone is also capable of full HD video playback.

The specifications list of the unannounced smartphone also includes support for 3G (HSDPA: 42.2 Mbps, HSUPA: 11.5 Mbps) networks, as well as WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and built-in GPS receiver.

Xolo Q3000 is powered by a 4000 mAh battery, and also comes with the usual set of sensors packed inside, including Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor.

Xolo will bring the new device to the market with Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top right from the beginning, though no specific info on when the handset might be released has been provided as of now. Details on the smartphone’s pricing are not available either.
