Xilence is preparing to expand its notable power-supply lineup with two more models from the XQ series. While not having an overly large wattage, the SPS-XP350.XQ and SPS-XP400.XQ will serve system configurations well thanks to their high efficiency. In fact, this efficiency of up to 86% has earned them the 80Plus bronze certification.

The 80Plus certification is one of the most favorably looked upon certifications that power supplies can get. Compliance with this standard means that the PSU wastes less than 20% of the total power that it can generate, which enables not only a stable and strong power flow but also a significant improvement in efficiency. As such, even a PCU with an arguably low wattage, such as the SPS-XP350.XQ, can be a better power solution than a stronger supply, which, even if it consumes 400W or even more, would be less noteworthy.

The SPS-XP350.XQ and SPS-XP400.XQ PSUs have power outputs of, as suggested by their names, 350W and 400W, respectively. They are built with an active PFC and will stand out from the crowd thanks to their white-painted chassis. Other certifications besides the 80Plus bronze include the FCC, CB, CE, RoHS and TÜV compliances. In addition, they each feature five safety circuits.

While the exact launch date has not yet been disclosed, the Xilence SPS-XP350.XQ and SPS-XP400.XQ power supplies will debut sometime during the middle of next month. They will be accompanied by a five-year warranty and will have price tags of 59 Euro for the 350W product and of 69 Euro for the 400W PSU.

Obviously, the two power units are not exactly meant for high-end configurations, whether gaming or any other kind of enthusiast systems. Still, the Xilence PSUs will serve very well in any type of undemanding home or business desktop. More information may be found on the manufacturer's official website. The official product page of the SPS-XP400.XQ may be found here.
