With summer coming in, those that have mobile computers will be faced with a new sort of heat when holding a laptop in their lap, unless they have something like the Xigmatek Tituli of course.

Notebook coolers make up one of those niche markets that aren't bound to go away any time soon, at least for as long as mobile computers go on existing.

In other words, there will always be notebook stands for those customers who own particularly hot laptops or spend time in warm environments.

With summer upon us, it stands to reason that the need for laptop coolers will rise, and it looks like Xigmatek is ready to capitalize on the opportunity this represents.

It may not have managed to move faster than Cooler Master, and its solution may not be as large as the latter's either, but it is listed here nonetheless.

More specifically, the Xigmatek Tituli is a notebook stand cooler which is available to prospective buyers willing to part with the sum of 19.99 Euro.

For that much cash, customers will get a product with support for laptops of up to 15 inches in diagonal, what with it measuring 339 (L) x 294 (W) x 49 (H) mm.

Also, it weighs 990 grams, being constructed out of a plastic frame with a black steel mesh on top.

Needless to say (more or less), the product has a fan, with a diameter of 160 mm, which works at 900 RPM (rotations per minute).

Fortunately, said spinner doesn't need more power than what is provided by a USB (universal serial bus) port. In fact, there are two extra such ports on the side, so that other accessories may be plugged into the Tituli.

What remains is to see what new laptops of up to 15 inches get released during this year's Computex and afterwards.
