The Orthrus is ready to be bought by anyone making a high-end PC

The Orthrus was one of the most unusual coolers at this year's Computex trade show, which took place in Taipei, Taiwan between June 4 and June 8.

That's because of the odd assembly of seven heatpipes (6mm-thick each), two distinct fin stacks, and the unusual way that the five central heatpipes feed only the upper aluminum stack.

Then, there's the second fan that chills the small fin stack underneath the larger one. It's all a bizarre construction that cools the CPU and, thanks to the width of the upper half, everything around the CPU socket as well.

Below is the official image gallery of the Orthrus. Two weeks ago, we only had a hands-on photo to examine.

Spec-wise, the upper 140mm fan spins at 800-1,200 RPM, not 1,600 as previously reported (rotations per minute), and the smaller one at up to 2,000 RPM.

As for size and weight, they are: 146 x 200 x 165 mm (WxDxH) or 5.74 x 7.87 x 6.49 inches, and 875 grams / 1.92 pounds.
