Xiaomi has just launched two new, gorgeous handsets on the market. The Mi Note and Mi Note Pro are sleek devices and both boast impressive specs, but they are also the most expensive smartphones we have seen come out of Xiaomi so far.

This aspect, however, hasn't stopped customers from pre-ordering the Mi Note (the Mi Note Pro is not available for the time being). According to sources familiar with the matter, the flagship is selling like hot cakes, despite not being what one would call a bargain.

All the iPhones come to me, says Xiaomi

Anyway, if the Mi Note series has finally convinced you it is time you abandoned your iPhone in favor of Android, you’ll be happy to know that according to a Gizmo China, Xiaomi is in the process of setting up a program that will facilitate this exchange.

What this means is that if you own an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you’ll be able to trade the devices for a Xiaomi device.

iPhone 5s owners will be awarded the Xiaomi Mi Note, while iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users willing to let them go, will be granted the scrumptious Mi Note Pro.

If you followed our earlier coverage, you probably know that the Mi Note Pro got announced with a 5.7-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and impressive 515 ppi plus a Snapdragon 810 coupled with 4GB of RAM, thus making it the second handset to be launched with this impressive quantity of RAM onboard.

Going back to the Xiaomi exchange program, word has it that owners will be able to trade in their iPhone regardless of condition, although you’ll most likely need to bring in a functional device and not one that died two months ago.

Other details are yet to be unveiled, but the program will probably go live in China, at least at first.
