It will arrive in China on February 20, priced at 799 Yuan ($132/€96)

Chinese mobile phone maker Xiaomi has launched yet another Android-based quad-core processor, in the form of Xiaomi Hongmi 1S, which has been rumored quite a few times before.

The new device arrives on shelves with a Snapdragon 400 with four cores clocked in at 1.6GHz, and with Adreno 305 graphics packed inside, as GizChina reports.

The new mobile phone was announced with a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen on the front, capable of delivering a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, as well as with an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with f/2.2 and LED flash, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution.

Moreover, the new device features a 1.6MP front camera, as well as 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and the usual set of connectivity capabilities.

Xiaomi Hongmi 1S was launched with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and should arrive on shelves in China on February 20, priced at 799 Yuan ($132/€96). It can already be seen on Xiaomi’s website.
