XiaoMi unveiled to the world new members of its smartphone lineup only a few weeks ago, and has already kicked off sales for them, registering impressive success right from the start, it seems.

The company reportedly managed to move no less than 200,000 XiaoMi Mi2S units in less than one minute, which marks a new record sale for its handsets, as GSMInsider reports.

The company had up for sale both the 16GB and the 32GB flavors of the XiaoMi Mi2S smartphone. The 32GB model sports not only a Snapdragon 600 processor inside, as the 16GB version, but also a 13-megapixel photo snapper.

Apparently, the company opened sales at 12:00 today, but closed them after one minute, as there were no more units left to sell. The mobile phone maker is expected to make more devices available in the not too distant future.
