Even though it’s not among the most functional applications for Windows Phone devices, Microsoft strives to improve Xbox Video and make it better through regular updates.

The new update, although minor, fixes some issues that users have been experimenting with the application for quite a while. Unfortunately, the update only addresses two of these bugs, even though Xbox Video is notorious for being full of issues.

Well, according to the official changelog, the developers have fixed an issue where some customers saw a perpetual “Loading …” message instead of their Collection.

This is one of the most annoying bugs that plagued the application, but there are still quite a few that need to be addressed. Another issue that’s been corrected in this update is the fact that in some instances, TV and Movie detail pages did not load.

It appears that Microsoft was quite fast in bringing fixes for these particular bugs, so let’s hope that it will be able to solve the rest of the problems with the application sooner rather than later.

You can now download Xbox Video for Windows Phone 2.5.3989.0 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
