Xbox SmartGlass for Windows Phone Tastes Performance Improvements

A new flavor of the Xbox SmartGlass application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices, namely version 1.5.0.0.

The app was released as the Windows Phone companion for Xbox 360 consoles, so that users can browse content or control specific actions on the console straight from their handsets.

Users can play, pause, fast forward, rewind, and stop videos and music, interact with favorite TV shows, search music, video, and games on the Xbox console, and the like.

Unfortunately, Microsoft did not offer specific info on what was changed in the latest app release, though some of those who have already installed it note that it feels more responsive than before.

The mobile application is available for download for free through the Windows Phone Store, with support for all devices running under the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system flavor or newer.
