Security firm Kasperksy Lab has just revealed a brand new report concerning the amount of hacker attacks that are being directed towards the new PS4 and Xbox One next-gen consoles, confirming that there are about 34,000 attacks a day.

The PS4 and Xbox One were released last month in most parts of the world and, as always, different individuals have started messing with the new platforms, for noble or less noble reasons.

According to a new report from Kaspersky Lab, via ConsumerAffairs, hackers have had a field day with the new devices, as there are around 34,000 different attacks per day directed at the next-gen consoles.

What's more, over 4.6 million pieces of gaming-focused malware are responsible for such attacks, and most of them are coming from Spain, followed by Poland and Italy.

For the moment, both the PS4 and Xbox One are staying strong, but it's unclear for how long they'll be able to withstand hackers.
