Despite previous statements, it seems that Microsoft has reversed the decision to not include wired headsets with the Xbox One next-gen console, as a new report has appeared with concrete data about the Xbox One retail package.

The Xbox One's standard version will include the console, the new and improved Kinect sensor, an HDMI cable, and a next-gen controller for the device, at least according to data from Microsoft.

While the company presented a wired chat headset for the console, it revealed that the peripheral won't be included in the regular package because the Kinect can easily act as a microphone.

Now, according to a statement sent by the chief Xbox One UK importer, Gem, via ElectronicTheater, it seems that the contents of the retail package have changed.

Now, the box includes the Xbox One with a 500GB hard drive, the new Kinect, an HDMI cable, a new controller, and a wired chat headset.

No other details are known, so take this report with a grain of salt for now.
