The development team in charge of the Xbox One announces that it will have a solid presence at the upcoming PAX 2014 event, designed to show gamers the range of video games that they will be able to play on the home console in the coming months and through the holiday season.

The Xbox-themed booth is labeled 412, and gamers can go by in order to take a look at Sunset Overdrive, an exclusive shooter that is played from the third-person perspective and focuses on fast movement and over-the-top weapons.

The official Xbox Wire announcement states, “Come play 8-player ‘Chaos Squad’ for your chance to survive the night against the mutants and take home a Pinny Arcade limited edition Fizzie pin. Then, get your photo taken in our Sunset Overdrive Photo Booth located at the Paramount Theatre or hop a ride on the Sunset Overdrive Bus to grab a ‘Sunset City’ burger at Li’l Woody’s over the weekend.”

Forza Horizon 2 will also be featured at PAX, and gamers can get hands on with a demo which includes the Italian city of Castelletto and some impressive cars to test.

For Project Spark, Microsoft is offering live question and answer sessions with the developers at Team Dakota and hands-on sessions with the title, which are designed to allow gamers to put together their own game experiences.

Killer Instinct Season 2, which includes new fighters Maya and TJ Combo, is set to start in the fall, and gamers can get exclusive hands-on experiences with the new combatants at the Xbox One stations during PAX 2014, giving them an advantage when the game is finally launched.

Microsoft is also offering access to titles like Ori and the Blind Forest, Project Totem, State of Decay, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Age of Empires.

Gamers who love indie titles can also check out the ID#@Xbox section of the PAX presence in order to play games like #IDARB, Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time, Knight Squad and SpeedRunners.

The official PAX 2014 schedule also features a panel linked to Halo and the Journey of the Master Chief, and Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, will also be at the show as the main Microsoft community liaison.

At the moment, sales of the Xbox One are lagging behind those of the rival PlayStation 4 from Sony despite the price cut that has been recently introduced.

In order to reverse the trend, Microsoft needs to persuade gamers of the quality of the titles it is launching before the end of 2014.
