Video game developer EA Sports and sports channel ESPN announce that their current and future match simulations are now powered by the next-gen version of Madden NFL 25, using the Ignite engine with extra game features.

The clip on the official YouTube channel of the TV giant shows a game played on the next-gen console from Microsoft with all options turned on.

The company says, "Watch EA Sports Madden NFL 25 simulate the outcome of Week 6's Monday Night Football matchup between Andrew Luck's Indianapolis Colts and Philip Rivers' San Diego Chargers, featuring next-generation gameplay from Xbox One."

The only problem with the footage is that there does not seem to be too much of a difference between the Xbox One based game and the version that players can already buy on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

Madden NFL 25 will be offered on next-gen consoles in November.

UPDATE: EPSN has taken down all the videos that showed gameplay, unfortunately.
