Gamers get a bigger hard drive and a special design for the device

The team at Microsoft working on the Xbox One is ready to offer more details on the Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle which will be offered for the home console this fall, created in collaboration with the development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision.

The new package is designed to underline the link between the platform and the first-person shooter franchise, which has been going on for years, as well as to offer hardcore fans a device which shows their dedication to the series.

The official announcement states, “Featuring a massive 1TB hard drive, the console is emblazoned with Sentinel Task Force iconography inspired directly from the game. As you’ll see in the video above, the wireless controller looks like an artifact from the technologically-advanced battlegrounds of the future.”

The Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle will include the Day Zero edition of the title, which means that gamers will be able to start playing on November 3 and will get access to double experience for the first 24-hour period, which can give them a big advantage in multiplayer once the rest of the players jump in.

Microsoft adds, “The bundle will also include the Digital Edition Personalization Pack, a Limited Edition in-game exoskeleton and the Advanced Arsenal, which includes a bullet brass exoskeleton and the EM1 Quantum directed energy custom weapon.”

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare wants to revolutionize the series

Sledgehammer Games is aiming to fundamentally change the nature of the first-person shooter series with the new game by introducing the exo-skeleton, which opens up new movement capabilities for the player and a range of new abilities.

In multiplayer, gamers will be able to experience 12 full modes, including two new ones called Momentum and Uplink, each designed to offer a new type of experience accessible to both long-term fans and newcomers.

Regardless of the chosen mode of play, gamers will be able to jump higher in order to reach new areas and boost in order to avoid enemy attacks, which also delivering a powerful new slam attack.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be launched on the Xbox One but can also be played on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the PC and last-gen consoles.

All downloadable content that will be launched for the shooter will first be offered on Microsoft platforms, as was the case for the previous installments in the franchise.
