The Xbox One will be launched on November 27 in North America, at least according to a new listing from retailer Amazon.

In the past week quite a few release dates for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles have surfaced and, after hearing that Microsoft's next-gen device could appear on November 21 in Europe, retailer Amazon has just pinned a new November 27 launch date on the Xbox One.

According to the console's listing on the retailer's website, the Xbox One will be released on November 27, 2013.

No other details were given but, considering the date is right before the traditional shopping holiday of Black Friday, which falls on November 29, it's quite possible that Microsoft will deploy the console ahead of that usual discount period.

Until the company reveals an official announcement, take this launch date for the Xbox One with a grain of salt.
