The development team at Microsoft in charge of the Xbox One home console and the ID@Xbox program for indie titles is delivering an official video that shows off some of the most interesting small titles that will be launched on the platform in the coming months.

The company has been demoing some of them during the Game Developers Conference 2014 and the footage includes some images taken from the titles as well as info from the development teams.

Microsoft also talks about the importance it is placing on indie games, which can create an important content stream for the Xbox One.

ID@Xbox is a publishing program that aims to discover the most promising titles from the indie community, support them during the development process and then deliver them on the next-gen device.

Some developers have criticized it for the parity clause, but there are 25 titles that have been confirmed as ready to launch before the end of the year, although individual dates have not been offered for any of them.

Microsoft originally promised that each Xbox One could be used as a development console, but since the device was launched, the company has explained that it was unable to implement a full suite of tools before November 2013.
