Microsoft has confirmed that it's going to take the Xbox One and the next-gen games for it on a global tour spanning both North America and Europe, so that those interested in the new console can get a feel of it and its titles ahead of the November 22 launch.

The Xbox One is set to make its debut at the end of this fall, and Microsoft has made quite a few changes since it first revealed the console in May of this year.

In order to give regular fans a chance to try out the new console and its games, the company has now confirmed that it will be organizing Area One, a special global tour in which it will show off the Xbox One and many of its various games.

"Area One, the name for our travelling game showcase, is where you’ll experience some of the most hotly anticipated Xbox One titles including Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3, Zoo Tycoon, Max: Curse of the Brotherhood, Lococycle and Crimson Dragon," Xbox Live Community Manager Larry Hryb wrote on his blog.

"This is an great opportunity for our Xbox fans to learn about Xbox One and experience why Xbox One takes gameplay to a whole new level."

Check out a list of the cities that will be visited by Microsoft, and the tour dates, below.
