The Vine app has just hit the Xbox One, so you can start entertaining yourself with small bursts of video at your leisure.

The app is only available to Xbox Live members, but the good news is that Microsoft dropped the Xbox Live Gold requirement for many entertainment-related apps this summer, so you'll be able to enjoy it freely.

The app has been specifically designed to offer a meaningful Vine viewing experience on the big screen, enabling users to access one of the most utilized video apps, alongside the slew of other entertainment and gaming options offered.

The Vine experience has been tailored for viewing on big TVs, so you'll be able to access your choice of funny, artistic, nonsensical, quirky or creative Vines from your living room, complete with Kinect voice or gesture control to play, pause and search.

The app will come with a list of popular selections and with various channels such as Art, Music & Dance and Comedy, and will allow you to view playlists and more.

The app can be snapped next to your games, movies or any other entertainment apps, so you'll be able to watch Vines no matter what you're doing or watching on your Xbox One.

All you need to do in order to embark on the Vine train is visit the Xbox Store and download the app on your Xbox One home console.
