Future owners of the Xbox One console will be able to share their purchased digital games with all other local accounts on that console, and access the titles when signing into their accounts on other devices.

The Xbox One home console received a lot of negative publicity when it was first revealed back in May due to the restrictive and confusing policies employed by Microsoft for the next-gen console.

Now, however, Microsoft is making efforts to rectify the situation and started explaining some of the core features coming alongside the Xbox One to the Xbox Live online service.

Now, after talking about the Home Gold system, Microsoft revealed on its website how digital games can be shared on the same console by account holders.

"Everyone in your home can share digital games with each other. Your Xbox One can become your virtual game library filled with digital games that different people in the home bought. Anyone can pick any digital game on your Xbox One, sign in with their own gamertag and play – even if the owner is not signed in," the company said.

"Like physical media, you can also play many digitally downloaded games without being online, although experiences will be best when connected to the internet and Xbox Live. Finally, when you purchase a digital game, you can start playing even before the entire game downloads."

What's more, the digital games library of an account can be accessed on any console that user logs in, according to Microsoft.

"Because your digital games go with you, you can also use and share digital games when you sign in to another console. And, if you happen to buy a digital game when you are signed in on your friend’s console, your game will also be available on your Home Xbox One console for anyone to use."

It's unclear if, when an account holder logs into another console, all those other people using that console will be able to access his or her games.
