Video games that are launched on both the Xbox One and the 360 will have two different sets of Achievements, allowing all those who care a little too much about their Gamerscore to double the amount of points they get as long as they want to invest in two copies.

Marc Whitten, the leading platform architect for the Xbox One, tells IGN that, “if you’re playing Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox 360 and on Xbox One, you can earn a separate set of Gamerscore in each game. But on the Xbox One version, you’re getting a much richer set of features.”

The new console allows the development teams to introduce new Achievements over a game’s lifetime to keep fans occupied and there are also all options to launch special challenges that offer prizes to those players who show the most skill.

The Xbox One will be launched in November for 499 dollars or Euro.
